I’m not sure how we ended up there, oh yes, to other places we wanted to go to or closed for Easter.nservice was horrible. The guy simply didn’t care. Warm beer. Super slow service in general, but the worst part was that-I ordered grilled snapper and it took one hour and 15 minutes and two reminders to get the fish. the waiter there gave me an attitude when , after an hour of waiting, I asked him how my fish was coming along.nFortunately, I had enough common sense to tell him to bring everybody else’s food and not wait for my fish to be ready. So my family was able to eat and they left and I stayed behind waiting for the fish. The fish was good-I have to say to be honest, but service and attitude-horrible. The rest of the food was just regular .nI’ll give them a free tip-if something is going to take longer than expected, please come to the customer, smile and say “hey I’m sorry this is taking a little bit longer for whatever reason, please have some patience and what can I get you in the meantime? nope, they do not know how to do it at this place.nPlace also is pretty high priced and at the end of the bill there is VAT tax and also some other surcharge.nSo, food and drinks were just under 2000 lempiras and my total bill ended up being over 2400.nI didn’t even want to get into this with them.nI would advise to steer clear of this place.
My go to cafe!!! So good and amazing prices.
A fly flew in my coffee but she just ended up taking it off my bill. We ate here the first day in Roatan. Now that I’m back home this was honestly the cheapest and best breakfast I had the whole trip. The bread is sooooo good out the country and especially here. The potato’s are cooked the best. If I come back I’m def coming here. The iced coffee was just ok.
One of my favorite places to eat on the island. There are some great vegan options (ask for “huevos sin huevos”)! The shakes are delicious. The views are great! I loved coming here to read a book or have a meal after a dive.
Great staffnDelicious goodnReasonable pricesnLovely viewnI highly recommend this place. It was my favourite morning spot to grab a coffee and read.
This was a terrific Americana breakfast....good value, I guess for imported...service was alittle slow, but that's island time for you...the view is amazing....
Service very average the same can be said about breakfast, Bacon and eggs were done well but avocado toast was quite soggy.
Had a WONDERFUL breakfast here. Great prices also. The homemade hot sauce was outstanding. Highly recommended.
Simple Asian cuisine, but always delicious. And reasonably priced too. We always enjoy going there.
My wife and I had breakfast here 3 times while in West End and it was perfect every time. All of the food was delicious and perfectly cooked. The breakfast potatoes are exquisite. Light, fluffy and full of flavor. The service was wonderful, but can be a bit slow, cause, you know....island time. Oh, and the mint lemonade was amazing, as were all of the coffee drinks we had.
Great little spot upstairs from West End Divers dive shop! Their Saturday special green chili chicken enchiladas are not to be missed!
Cafe Escondido is definitely my favorite breakfast spot on the entire island.
Best place for a great view and good food.
Nice. Cafe above the Westend Diver diving center.nCozy and loving.
Delicious breakfast and great coffee options. Best potatoes we had on the island.
Excellent breakfast and coffee. Came two days in a row to try more things!! Good value too
Nice place, beautiful panoramic view of the sea, good service, delicious food and excellent prices.
Excellent place for a quick snack. Good vibes and reasonable pricing on Roatan Island
Excellent breakfast place
Great breakfast and view!
Cute lil restaurant with a nice view. The staff were kind, drinks AMAZING (we got a nutty monkey smoothie and caramel latte). Food was great as well. Would return!
Delicious, healthy food at great prices. Excellent service and open air dining with ocean view. We loved it.
Food is always on pointnOne of my favorites in westend
We loved the laid back vibe of this place! Our food came out so quickly and we had a really kind server who was willing to give us pointers as far as what to order when feeling indecisive. I had the huevos rancheros, and my partner got the pita sandwich and French toast. I'll be honest... I'd never order French toast out, but I took a bite (or a few) of his, and it was TO DIE FOR! I also loved my meal... especially the crispy potatoes! Everything was simple, but so flavorful, and gave us a true taste of Honduran cuisine.
It's really a chill place to have brunch, the service is great and food is always delicious.
Food was good, including the coffee. Prices were good.nWashrooms were clean.
The staff are attentive and quick to serve. The natural sodas are delicious and fresh.
Great place. We visited multiple times and everything we tried was delicious and well-prepared. Reasonable prices also. Chill, not as loud as other local breakfast/lunch spots and friendly staff.
Nice location and good options for breakfast & lunch
Some times as a local you want to get a North American Breakfast, look no further, this is a great place to eat. Not only for Breakfast, but after a dive, especially if you are diving at West End Divers as they are directly below. That Cafe Escondido is on the second floor you do get a view of West End Road and the Ocean, it is quiet up there and the food and service is great.
Stopped by for breakfast. Had a good breakfast sandwich, tasty banana pancake & some fresh fruit. The food was light & refreshing. Got a couple of iced coffees with our food. Overall, good place with a view of the water & (relatively) inexpensive prices.
Fair price and quality. Safe place to eat for tourists
This place has some of the most wonderful food in west end :) Makes for wonderful views and terrific conversations!!
