Some of the best Indian we have ever had!
The food was delicious!nThe service was excellent!nThe staff was super friendly! Even the owner came to our table and explained how several dishes were prepared.nWell located, centrally located.nI highly recommend it! I want to go back.
Excellent food and a wide variety of dishes...the best service
Authentic Indian food in Lima and it was delicious. Excellent service from Yuver and the ambience was amazing wonderful. Highly recommend Mantra.
The place could be better maintained. The chairs and tables (terrace) were dirty. The food was okay, but for the price, it could have had more protein...the classic naan was quite thin, I think. It could be better. There's no parking.
We were craving a cup of masala chai and saw Mantra - so decided to come in. I am so glad we did. The restaurant is decorated tastefully - good ambience.nWe ordered the Goan fish fry and the fried prawns along with the tea - loved it all, tasted exactly like we make it at home. Excellent service by Yuder - who smilingly helped us with our orders and even asked the chef to make the dishes spicy to suit our taste!!nThanks Yuder!!
Mantra Indian Cuisine was the perfect stop for lunch on a busy day. Yuder and Gustavo were an excellent help and provided me with recommendations and delivered high quality Indian food at a timely manner.
Gustavo was amazing! Great service and super nice person in general!
Delicious food and super service from Gustavo.
Gustavo, very good service and everything was delicious.
Gustavo's service was excellent!!
It has already become my favorite place in Lima, highly recommended, the atmosphere is very cozy and the food is excellent
This is the most amazing Indian restaurant in Peru. The host Manishbhai is very nice and generous. We wanted khichadi and it was amazing. The host made us chaas and it was great to have after an entire week of Italian. Please try the paneer and the Manchurian was better than any I have had in the us, tastes like India. The palak paneer was awesome as well. Again, you will not be disappointed, go here if you are craving Indian food.
Amazing Indian food, very authentic and very fresh Indian food.
I really liked this Indian restaurant. The food was very tasty, with flavors different from what I'm used to: spicy and somewhat hot, but with a very interesting twist. I tried a drink called Mango Lassi, traditionally Indian, made with yogurt, mango, and spices; super delicious. I especially recommend the tasting plate with various appetizers, ideal for trying a little bit of everything, and also one based on shrimp. The naan bread is delicious for mixing with the sauces. Beyond the food, I loved getting to know a little more about Indian culture through the atmosphere and the details of the place. Of the desserts, I prefer the Indian ice cream; it reminded me of Arequipa cheese ice cream. The service was very good, and the overall experience was very pleasant. It's definitely worth it if you want to try something different.
Gustavo helped us out with great service. Food was top notch too. We came back second time before our flight back.nnAll the chicken kebabs we tried were really amazing!!! Highly recommend it.
Delicious, authentic, and our server Gustavo was very friendly and attentive!
The ambience, food, and service is great. Try their delicious chicken tikka appetizer.
Great ambience and food was very good.
Poor service. Also requested very spicy. Our food had no spice. Had to ask for chili. Would not recommend
I came here multiple days for lunch and dinner. This is one of the oldest Indian restaurant in Lima, and one of the best restaurant for Indian cuisine.nLocated in miraflores and close to larcomar.nI have been to various Indian restaurants and the test was not really Indian. But here the test is better than, you can test in India.nTo mention few of the dishes you must try veg tava masala, Kadhai paneer, palak paneer in vegetarian dishes. Chicken tikka masala, butter chicken & chicken malai tikka in non vegetarian dishes.nSweet dishes gulab jamun and kulfi must try.nOther than food, owner of restaurant Mr. Jay Patel personally take care of guests and he gives you solutions for all your queries and try to help you.nAll staff members are polite & service is good.nGood job Mr. Jay Patel, keep it up.
Excellent starters .nnMain course is just ok but not bad .nnMutton buna was totally raw and they were very casual about it
Super nice setting with excellent flavors. We had thin crispy lentil bread with mango chutney to start. There are 4 vegan dishes plus 2 that can be made vegan. The serving sizes are perfect.
Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, excellent sauces
Loved it. Great food. I had the lamb briyani with some cheese naan and a mango lasi, 107 soles.
The food is really good but a bit spicy. So be cautious if you're not used to spicy food.
A very nice restaurant with authentic Indian cuisine. I highly recommend the mango lassi.
Hummm...I've had better Indian food...it wasn't bad but
Gustavo was excellent and very attentive to our many needs!
Home away from home. The best Indian food in Lima. I'll always take my groups here for veg & non veg meal. Thanks to Mr Patel for his personalized services.
Great naan found in peru, very good samosa and kofta curry i would come back- server is very sweet and humble as well
I used to like this restaurant, but the taste of the food was not good this time. I'm not going back.
Breads are something from another world
