During my recent visit to JAYI Mediterranean Restaurant in Mexico City, I was excited to dive into a variety of dishes! We ordered around 7 to 8 items from the menu, and I have to say, it was quite the feast. Each dish had its own unique flair, but the standout for me was definitely the chicken shawarma.nIt was incredibly flavorful, with perfectly marinated chicken that was juicy and tender—truly a delight! While the other dishes were certainly enjoyable, nothing quite compared to the savory goodness of that shawarma. It was definitely a highlight of our meal and left me wanting more!nThe ambiance was cozy, and the service was fantastic, making our dining experience even better. Overall, JAYI is a lovely spot to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, and I’ll certainly be back to savor that chicken shawarma again. If you find yourself there, make sure to give it a try!

Pretty bad, the falafel is pretty good, otherwise the salad has a lot, really TOO MUCH onion, the chicken shawarma lacks flavor even though it has a lot of seasoning, the service is terrible, really bad, we were served by 3 different people and everyone was confused, disorganized, making bad jokes and talking badly about them (?). I would never go back.

This restaurant is awesome with great service, food, and atmosphere. The hummus and falafel is a must try.
We took breakfast at the place and the experience was great. Shared baba ganush and the quality of the olive oil was great. The jordanian mint tea very tasty. Fig, honey and jocoque toast is a must try if you are craving for something sweet. Mariana’s service was awesome.
The food was good, the service poor. They forgot to bring a dish, and we had to cancel dessert after waiting more than 15 minutes.
The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and impeccable presentation. Each dish seemed better than the last. The service was excellent: attentive, friendly, and always smiling—you can really tell when the staff enjoys their work. Plus, the cocktails are next-level—creative, balanced, and perfect for pairing with the food. Definitely a place we want to return to soon. Highly recommended!
The ribs and date cake are amazing. The service is good, and the owner is very attentive. The cardamom coffee is delicious. I'd never tried it before and I loved it. I would definitely eat here again.
The food was ok, we ordered Falafel but the wrap came blank unlike usual Falafel wrap full of greens and tomatoes.nThe service was poor too.

I just arrived from Colombia, and I went to this place on a recommendation. The food, service, and everything else were some of the best. The combination of flavors and the interplay between dishes made this experience the best in this city. I would go there for lunch and dinner every day.

My daughter chose this place, and it was an excellent choice. The waiters were very attentive, the food was made with authentic ingredients, the dessert was delicious, and the evening with the violinist topped off the meal. I highly recommend it. 10 out of 10.
Today we came to celebrate a birthday, we ordered a menu at the center and everything was delicious, the main course was sufficient and filling, it is delicious food, but the best thing is the attention and service, they gave us the birthday cake, they made us have an excellent day 10 out of 10
