The food was excellent, the facilities were lacking in attractiveness.
I came to Plantivoros for the first time two years ago, and was so happy to come back and report that the food is still just as fresh and delicious! I only wish I was hungrier so I could have ordered more definitely a must-try if you’re vegan in PDC and even if you’re not vegan, you will love it! You’ll probably be back more than once. My sister and I shared the chile rellenos with pastor filling and loved it. And my hot sauce connoisseur sister said their homemade habanero was the best she’s ever had! Please continue to support this wonderful business. Can’t wait to return again one day! (And also check out their Korean ghost kitchen food as well!!)
Best Vegan Restaurant in Town ! We ate here several times and the vegan food was always delicious. In addition to the food, the service is great and the people working here are awesome and motivated. They make sure that you are having a great experience. We also talked about the Mexican cuisine and what else we could try. They even gave us Mole to try . We will definitely come back and are looking forward for our next visit in Playa! We had a great experience and definitely recommend this restaurant to others! It was a pleasure meeting you guys .
I loved absolutely everything from this place. Great end to a hot day, and it hit the spot. The empanadas and Chile Relleno were fantastic, and even my picky husband was able to enjoy some (kindly accomodated) plain tacos. Love the fact that they let you choose your protein as well. Would definitely come back.

This is a great place to have vegan food. The quality of the ingredients feels fresh and good. The only disadvantage I noticed is that the portion sizes are small for the price you pay. The staff is very friendly and helping. Their habanero needs to have a special mention. Kudos to them for great restaurant.

The few tables available were full. I wanted take out anyway. I don't know what was in the burrito I ordered. I was assured it was vegetarian and I went with it. It was delicious. It is very hard to find veg food other than the veg and cheese all taco places have. Highly recommend this place
Good seasoning and good service
My god the food was amazing. We had the enchiladas and the chili relleño with a side of rice and beans. The place is actually not far from the main walking Ave on 5th. We had a hard time finding it because we were using Apple Maps. Use google maps and you will get there fine. Service was great. The passion fruit lemonade felt so healthy and fresh. We ordered salad as our side and honestly expected wilted veggies but everything was so fresh and so beautiful. If you like heat, try the habanero sauce they have. It was my favorite part of the meal.

10/10 - everything perfect! The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming ☺️nWe had the burger and the tacos Dorado , both of which tasted great! I can also highly recommend the vegan tiramisu (cake) nThe Agua de Jamaica with lime also tastes particularly good here, not as sweet as the standard drink and very refreshing. We would come a second time if we were here longer!
Hands down my favorite place we ate at while in PDC. I had an oyster mushroom burrito with mole on top. Sooo delicious!
We went for dinner here and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The tacos were delicious. I really enjoyed my coconut drink and the vegan ice cream!

Sin ninguna duda!nnThis is for two reasons:n(1) this spot presents authentic, beautiful, deeply traditional Mexican flavours and dishes with such success that even those who don’t adhere to a plant based diet will be shocked to their core at how incredible the food is; andn(2) Pablo - the host, frontman, server and all around caballero. Putting my own interactions aside, in which I was made to feel like family, having been multiple times, I’ve had the pleasure to watch Pablo make every single visitor feel welcome. From toddlers who couldn’t get enough of his charm and loving character, to couples and solo travellers, this man was born to do what he does.nnThe food is unparalleled and the atmosphere is that of being at home. We have been eating tacos all over the Yucatán, and this place was one of the best, if not the best. Our waiter was funny and so helpful, the menu was diverse and all focused on vegan versions of Mexican dishes with a few unique twists. Short walk from 5th avenue, affordable prices, and supreme flavor. Definitely put this on the list!
I come here every time I visit Playa Del Carmen. I miss the food when I’m not here! it’s truly special and not just for vegans. It’s not on the main road, so it’s not crowded and a perfect spot for a quiet meal. I had the enmoladas, and they were exceptional.nnAmazing food, service, and can’t wait to come back!
Absolutely incredible! The best vegan food I had in Playa Del Carmen hands down. Rich, authentic flavors with an abundance of gluten-free options. The server was amazing and kind and I am just very thankful this place is around. If you are plant based, this is an absolute must!!
Wonderful vegan cuisine, we ordered about 3/4 of the menu, finished half at the restaurant and took the rest for lunch the following day. It was just as good on round 2!!! The torta was a favorite but literally EVERYTHING is amazing.nnOur waiter couldn’t have been any better, he was so knowledgeable and gave us tips for where to eat next and the chefs in Playa who really understand veganism and vegan dining. It can be tough here - we tried some omnivore restaurants and ended up with eggs and dairy. Not at Plantivoros tho - FANTASTIC 100% vegan menu and kitchen. We loved every bite!!!
