We were so excited to try this place for local Nicaraguan food. We went at 2pm on Friday but the place seemed closed for no reason. There was also no signage.

It was incredibly delicious! You don't think it's a restaurant at first, but the nice lady conjures up an excellent meal! Also vegetarian possible (delicious!!). Large portions, very fair price! We'll be back :)

Great meal, reasonable price (150 for huge plate), authentic food and ambience. Pretty much eating a home cooked meal in the home of the chef. It seemed closed when we arrived in the evening but locals pointed us in the right direction, we knocked and had a delicious meal made for us in under 20 mins.

I am really glad that I‘ve found this place. The food is amazing and you basically eat it in the house of a friendly Nicaraguan family :). More authentic is not possible. Here you see how things really are, no tourist show.

Certainly very affordable, served in Nicaraguean family house. In terms of taste ok, simple bland meal, a bit too salty pork, tomatoe slice looked kind of tired but avocado slice was real good. If on budget, you will get full belly for 150 cordobas. No signage on door, but can be found following map.
The lady prepared a very good meal for us. At first, we thought the restaurant was already closed (7 p.m.), but she opened it again especially for us.

The kindness and warmth with which Doña Tulita welcomed us was incredible. This quiet, local restaurant near the city center offers traditional food and vegetarian dishes at a very good price.nI highly recommend you don't miss this restaurant!
So good!!! And very affordable. Absolutely come and have a chat and a delicious meal. Unfortunately I came back for the second time on the night of the U.S. elections and could not enjoy as much as I could the night before. Absolutely a must-eat in Granada!!

I went because of the good reviews it had on Google.nThe first time I went it was closed at 7:30 p.m., even though the schedule indicates that it closes at 8 p.m.nI asked the lady and she told me that the next day they would open until 8 p.m.nI came back the next day at 6pm and closed again.nI don't know what the food will be like but formality doesn't seem to be its strong point.nI went to Granada's Grill, which is next door, and it was a success! The day before I went to the sailboat restaurant and I also liked it a lot

As this place is a bit hidden, we first passed comodor Doña Tulita but were pointed by neighbours to the door. Going through the house you get into the garden were you can decide what you want; pork, cow or chicken. The friemdly lady goes into the kitchen and prepares the meal which you get served in approximately 15 minutes. The food is basic Nicaragua food, very tasty and you will het enough to still your hunger. For those who want an authentic, quick and delicious meal; do not look further. You can bring your own drink from the store close by.nWe ate here 3 times and it never bored us.
