We have been travelling in Nicuragua now for 3 weeks. This is the first place that I think really deserved their tip. Very good and quick service, delicious food and a good vibe. What I really like here also is that the government tax is included in the price on the menu
Good menu with lots of options and excellent service! Lively atmosphere at the tables outside. Parillada was a large portion
Excellent place for dinner. The food is delicious and varied—from crispy wings to plates with fresh vegetables and rice. The atmosphere is relaxed, with good lighting and friendly service. Highly recommended!
Nice fish tacos and sangria !
Nelson and Alex very good staff, food also good, best was the national dish!
Good selection of craft beer
Fun and delicious restaurant! Stopped there for lunch with kids and adults of all ages. Service was excellent, food was yummy and the ambiance was nice. We loved it. Especially loved the nachos, soup, ceviche and fish tacos.
Good food, i would highly recommend their Lava Cake, the nicest cake I’ve ever tasted, I had to go back the next evening again for it, it’s worth the wait
Decent food, but by far the lava cake is the best dessert in the city, well worth the wait as it takes 35 minutes to prepare, maybe ordering at the start before you eat might speed it up
The food we received was fresh and delicious. The place was a bit noisy.nnThe prices aren't that bad. They are affordable. They have a wide variety of dishes.nnThe young man who served us was super nice and very helpful. He has a good command of the dishes and offers very helpful information.nnWe ordered a lemonade with mint and salt, which was delicious.
Get the lava cake!!! It’s the best I’ve ever had.nThe food is good. I think they have inside seating if you want to eat in peace. Sitting out on the street can be a little much at times
Great food, Great Service! Highly recommend
It’s nice to sit outside, and the service was good and fast. The food is mediocre, so recommend somewhere else to eat
I went there for fish tacos. They were about the best I’ve ever had. Friendly waitstaff, good prices, & fast service. All good!
We ate at here a few times on our trip! Loved all the food, the murals, the mojitos!, the service and the music. Wish we had this place at home!
Very overpriced as food isn’t brilliant. Make sure you sit in courtyard rather than on street as more relaxing.
The service was impeccable from start to finish. Our server Alex was gracious and accommodating, ensuring every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. Everything we ordered was delicious and we also received some complimentary yucca chips that were amazing! We highly recommend Nectar and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Granada!
The game is beautiful and the service is very good, the guy was kind and attentive but the food left a lot to be desired, I didn't like the presentation and well it seems like they fried everything with reused oil, the flavor was intended for that and a great panade of unnecessary ground beans, the fried yucas looked like they were from a week ago and the tostones were watery, however we were very hungry and we had no other choice.
My daughter and I really delicious meal at Nectar on La Calzada! The street was busy and lively, and we loved the vibrant atmosphere. For appetizers we had some tostones & cheese, crispy plantains topped with fresh cheese and salsa (so so good, perfect for sharing), and the comforting tortilla soup, full of flavor and topped with avocado and crispy strips. The portions where big!nnFor our main course, we enjoyed the tostada salad, a crispy tortilla filled with rice, beans, chicken and avocado. It had a perfect mix of flavors and textures. The jalapeño chicken, a traditional Nicaraguan dish, was cooked just right and served with rice, potatoes, and salad, with just the right amount of spiciness. We tried this dish in several places and this was our favorite version.nnFor dessert we had the coconut flan. It was creamy, sweet and delicious with just the right amount of coconut flavor. We also had refreshing drinks. I had the mojito and my daughter enjoying a choco banana smoothie. Both were really good.nnI really liked that Nectar has a diverse menu, with both traditional Nicaraguan dishes and international options. We saw lots of families there and I loved that they have a kid's menu! The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.
Delicious food and drinks!! Everything super fresh, prepared at the moment. Excellent service
Beautiful colonial house. Good food
What a lovely welcome, smiling and super kind people. Our server, Juan Carlos (I hope that’s his name right ), took great care of us. He often came to see us to make sure everything was ok. The Mojitos…..wowww excellent. The chicken wings are very good and so is the tortilla sopa. Very good meals in a beautiful atmosphere. We will return with pleasure
Horrible experience! We ordered food over the phone, were told an amount and then when the driver got here it was double the price. The prices also didn’t match those of their online menu.nBoth the driver and our hotel manager were shocked by how much they were charging for 2 dishes.nThe driver, who was from an external delivery company, said it wasn’t the first time they tried to overcharge tourists.nThe staff was unkind and unhelpful and when we asked that they send us the menu with these prices they told the driver to return with the food.nnTOURIST TRAP, avoid!
Ceviche and nachos both massive portions. Yum
I think that in service I make my observation, the staff must be charismatic and not because of what the client offers in tip
Only went for the drinks - Macua and Mojitos were refreshing!
