Hire a real cook and not a teenager whose job it is not!nnWe ordered 2 vegetable soups at 10,000COP:n1 Thai and 1 ItaliannnThe plate is large, filled with various vegetables and broth.nBut the big problem is that there are a lot of spices in addition to being too salty, we couldn't eat!!nThe 2 young people did what they could but it’s not their job and it shows.nWe won't come back.
Lovely diner cooked by the lovely owner. The hole menu instead of the beer is gluten free. So really nice for people with coeliac disease! We go tomorrow again for lunch!! :)

Respectfully I feel bad leaving this review this is probably the only income for this family but there is a lot to improve!! Reviews by themselves do not reflect the quality of this restaurant only quality of food will do . My suggestion don’t leave a teenager in charge of the cooking since I could not judge if it was his inexperience in the kitchen or the food just isn’t good at all ! You guys run a business and it’s unfair for paying customers to have to eat this kind of food !!!The teenager who was serving the food was amazing ! he was trying to manage it all the little restaurant the best he could!!!nThe owner will probably reply saying that 400 plus reviews are not wrong but I felt cheated ! hopefully you guys do better truly wishing you the best! And I hope it was a one time off and that I had misjudged your food!
The restaurant is run by Angel and is wife. They are both very friendly people. The place itself is very authentic and cosy. The TV was playing 90s music and the atmosphere in general was very enjoyable.

Finding Angel's restaurant was like finding an oasis, we had been looking for a place to eat vegetables, delicious and healthy, something that was out of the ordinary in Colombia, that was not fried, or meat or fish and we finally found this place where Angel has created a place where you can enjoy dishes that fuse Colombian and Venezuelan food. Dishes with fresh products and for all tastes, it also has several creations that are delicious, without a doubt a place where you have to go if you come to Salento.
It was excellent, there are many typical dishes from Syria, Türkiye, Mexico, Colombia, Israel... Very good vegetarian food!
Lovely staff but you have to have time on your hands because there are only 2 of them in the kitchen. Excellent food (for all tastes and full of flavors). I therefore recommend despite the wait.

Small cosy place with just four tables. It's a relatively cheap place to eat but average quality.nnI had three menu del día for 18,000 pesos, which came with a soup, drink and main. The portions are huge! Unfortunately the taste was nothing to write home about. Certain flavours were overpowering. Lots of vegan options. The atmosphere is basic, generic pop music playing in the background.
Fresh and excellent products. The dishes are made to order, well balanced and generous, it was really very delicious! The owners are adorable, I recommend

Unfortunately very bad experience last night. We had to wait forever until we were served, it seemed as if the two boys were a bit overwhelmed. Unfortunately, when our two meals came, they didn't taste good at all. It may be that the regular chef wasn't there, but unfortunately it wasn't a good experience for us.
Price/performance ratio is okay as the portions are large. Many dishes sound delicious but are not. A lot from frozen etc. Of course, as with risotto or stew dishes.nNot cheap either at 30-40k per serving.nDrink 5-10knNot necessarily recommended.

Really a great experience. The owner went to buy guanábana especially for us to make us a super delicious lemonade. The food is really varied and made with love. From the starters to the dishes, I can absolutely recommend everything. For me there was a Saag with extra chickpeas (instead of tofu) and the Pad Thai was also absolutely delicious!nA top destination for meat eaters and vegans.nnThanks so much

A great vegetarian restaurant, very intimate (only four tables are great) and run by a very friendly family.nThe dishes are delicious, very well prepared, and take you on a world tour (Colombian specialties, of course, but also Mexican, Indian, Thai, French, etc.).nThe prices are downright affordable (especially at lunch, there's a set menu) for such quality.nGo there with your eyes closed!
Nice, cozy place, run by a family. The place is small, but has a relaxed atmosphere. We are not vegetarians, but the food was tasty and filling.
This vegetarian/vegan restaurant is definitely worth the price. We paid 18,000 pesos for the daily special, which includes a delicious soup, a choice of 5 or 6 dishes from the menu, and a large glass of fruit juice.nPersonally, I had the lentil curry, which was delicious.
The food was delicious and the natural juices are not far behind, and the portions are perfect. The atmosphere is very cozy and the service was also very good.

It was a very cosy place to spend an hour eating great food. The wine is nice too. Totally recommend visiting.
I visited this restaurant twice during my stay, and I would have gone much more if I had been able to try every dish on the menu. It's nice to have a restaurant where you can enjoy vegetables and legumes, which are so unusual in Colombian cuisine. The dishes are lovingly prepared and very tasty. Highly recommended if you're in the area!
