Overall, out if 25 places I ate in Tulum, easily, this was the worst. It could not be any more bland, ordinary, and from a guy who had a pretty bad attitude. My suggestion is opposite side of main 307 road, a few blocks to the left , southbound , on the corner, go to Antojitos la chiapaneca. Tostada is the go to in Antojitos. 3 times we went to go vegan, they didn't even open, .
This place is by far the best vegan restaurant in all of Tulum with the most affordable prices and the friendliest staff.
All very good to eat. But they ripped us off…. they charged us $120 for the kombucha…… without a receipt. In short, more than I spent on what we ate. Ask the price first!!
I wouldn’t recommend El Bajon Vegan Tacos to anyone in Tulum. The tacos were okay, but they did not have much flavour. We ordered 6 different tacos but none were very stand out. The food did come quickly. Overall the place is very run down and a bit unclean.nnWe walked past a few times and every day the opening / closing time was different, so not very reliable.nnMostly; I would avoid because the owner is very rude - he treated us badly, and it is clear he did not want tourists or people visiting in his restaurant - we spoke Spanish (badly) but were friendly and polite, and were met by him being rude and unhelpful.nnHe did not give us a receipt for our food - so I don’t know how much he charged.nnThere are much better places in Tulum for Vegan food where they treat you well, are helpful and are happy to have your custom in their restaurant.nnIf you don’t like tourists, don’t open a restaurant in Tulum for vegans.
Can’t tell you how many tacos I ate here over our 5 days in Tulum. And for the price? I should/could have eaten a lot more. We were lucky enough to be staying right around the corner. Extensive vegan options, between my girlfriend and I we didn’t have a single taco we didn’t love. Definitely go check them out! Including the cacao shop attached next door. Wonderful people. Incredible food. Looking forward to eating here again when we return to Tulum
Very good tacos. We really liked the self service style for the salsas and other toppings. We also had the juice of the day with a free refill. We highly recommend a visit here. Tacos were great value and as you pay by the taco you can choose how many of each flavour you want. We recommend the Pastor tacos.

Very cozy spot in the middle of Tulum with artful vegan decorations and slogans along the walls of the eatery. Small menu and made fairly quickly. They also accept credit card.
We went there several times during our visit to Tulum and can only recommend this place.nVery tasty vegan tacos and a large selection of different (vegan) proteins. The tostadas were also very tasty. Furthermore, great price and very good service.
A terrific place with delicious food. We had the tortas and the tacos. Both were excellent. They also serve non-alcoholic beer. Staff is very friendly. I can recommend it.

I declare myself a fan! The pastor tacos (seitan with lentils) and green chorizo (with pumpkin seeds) were my favorites, (although all the other flavors are just as good!).nnI would return to eat here without a second's hesitation. Apart from the dessert (dulce de leche muffin) that I ordered, it was spectacular.nnEasily one of the best vegan tacos I've ever had, full of flavor and variety.

By far some of the best tacos you’ll find in Tulum and no matter if you are vegan or not you’ll be blown away! The favors are a work of art and made with such love! Also the sauces are delicious and self serve which we like. I recommend trying one of each taco and sharing with a friend to try all the flavors
