I stopped by a few weeks ago after hearing my mom rave about how delicious these empanadas are. I have to say, they really did live up to the hype — the flavor was excellent! However, the young woman at the front desk could have been a bit more welcoming. We mentioned it was our first time and that we were visiting from out of town, so a warmer reception would have made the experience even better.
Small counter order restaurant with a full menu. Lots of empanadas and Venezuelan treats. We had a couple of empanadas, which were tasty. We had Milly’s famous Pabe-yo-yo as featured in Diners Drive In’s and Dives. It was quite flavorful, but a bit too much. I would stick with some simple empanadas.
Food and service is always a 10.nStaff is incredibly friendly and attentive. The food is made to order, so is always fresh. during Christmas, they have Hallacas, which are to die for. I wish they would carry them all year or that they would take special orders for them.
Nice restaurant in Miami really good
Milly's empanadas are the best and they have a large variety but, everything here in the menu is SO good. They have vegan & gluten-free options, and their cortadito is delicious. And if happens that Milly is in, she always come out to greet the customers and interact with them. Milly is such a sweetheart!
The pabellon empanada is wonderful and the coffee is delicious. Very friendly staff and chill vibe.
DELICIOUS! Always hits the spot. 2000/10
Such a great food spot, came down here for vacation and needed a good dominican meal came here and was not disappointed! Great staff great food great drinks if you’re in the area definitely make this stop
Very good food and unparalleled attention
Great food, service, and dining room. Pabe yoyo is shut the front door and close the back door! Scrumptious and empanadas are worth the time when in Miami.
These empanadas are something you have to try. They are crispy and thin but very filling and cooked at the perfect temperature so that when you take your first bite you feel the taste of perfection in your mouth.
Absolutely amazed with the freshness of the food , the great service, and the immaculate cleanliness of the store. Such a nice breath of fresh air to ne given good food and good service, almost impossible to find this level of quality without spending 50$+ per person, here you get it for about 20$ or less per person. Thank you Millys
Nice small place. A must try. Typical Venezuelan fast food a must try. Tried the breakfast croissant with eggs and bacon. Decent. Cachapa with steak, steak came a little cold. 3 tequeños were good for $5+. 2 adults 1 child. 1 jugo d mora. $37+
I ordered 3 empanadas with cheese, shredded meat and picadillo, two cuts that arrived cold, because they don't learn to do things right, the empanadas are very sweet and a lot of dough, I don't quite understand the amount of sugar in the dough, the cheese one is not necessary, it's very bad, I won't be back again.nT
Excellent food, excellent service and kindness, 100% recommended
Amazing and authentic Venezuelan food. I have tried many other places in the area and this one is the very best. Highly recommended.
The Doug is to hard. The filling is very poor and salty. The the taste of ground beef is to wet and greasy.
our party of 10 flew in from Ohio into Miami and this empanada place greeted us warmly! Everything tasted amazing. We definitely highly recommend!
The most expensive empanda in the Western hemisphere. $5 a pop and $9 for one with black beans and banana. I saw, laughed and left.
Super service and fresh empanadas, family atmosphere, service with a smile, like you exist.
The best empanadas I have ever eaten
When you do things in life with love and passion the product speaks by itself that is what are you going to find at Milly’s, amazing food, super clean place and the best customer service 100% recommended
Love it! Great attention, the food is great, I love the cheese empanada. Excellent coffee. 100% recommend
Authentic Venezuelan breakfast. Very pleasant place with a wide variety of dishes and flavors. Recommended.
We looked for a place to have breakfast and found this one near the place where we were. It is a nice, clean place and we were very well cared for. We tried the shredded cheese and chicken empanadas. All very rich. Parking available. We were celebrating and they gave us some tequeños that were delicious. Thanks for your attention. Recommended and we would return if we return to that area.
The empanada dough was super thick and hard and if youre venezuelan you know thats a turn off also very dry filling i was hoping to get a good carne mechada empanada but honestly was very disapointed
Milly’s was a pleasant surprise and made me feel proud of their small business. The food is good and everyone in our group enjoyed it. I ordered the patacon sandwich, which was good but the beef was salty. My gripe with the place is that it’s HOT in there. A few times we asked about it and we got the response of “ok, let em go tell them” but nothing changed. For that reason I don’t think I could eat there again, but I would consider take out. It’s a shame, though, because they did a nice job with decorating their restaurant.
Excellent food, good presentation and freshly made
The empanada dough was very hard, the shredded meat dough had good seasoning, the chicken dough was very spicy. You have to wait a long time for the empanadas to be delivered.
Guy Fieri was here and we had his recommended dish plus a side app. It was all excellent. Pabe YoYo and Tequenos. Friendly service. Only waiting for the cook time which resulted in hot fresh food.
AMAZING! I’ve been coming here for years. One of my favorite spots. I always order the chicken arepa (no mustard or ketchup/ only house cilantro sauce) and either the ground beef or chicken empanada. This place has never disappointed and their house cilantro sauce is TO DIE FOR
Amazing - I highly recomend Milly's for great flavourful food.
A place with an excellent vibe, very good service and a very varied menu and all with quality at the level of what is famous about the place. More about my visit on my Instagram travel_a_for_coffee
Excellent place and the food is fresh and delicious, I will definitely return!
Too bad quality, I have never had such a disastrous experience in Miami and apart from the quality, extremely expensive.
